Photography this page by Chandler Schwede of Caroline's Eye Photography   Meet Shari...FIGHTER Shari, 41 year old mom of six year old Devin and one year old Noah, was  diagnosed Thanksgiving 2011 with stage 2 breast cancer.  She chose a double mastectomy for herself and for her family so she didn't have to look over her shoulder for the rest of her life and think it could happen again.   Her last chemo treatment was just days before this picture.  She lights up a room! Meet Kitty...SURVIVOR Kitty, 61 year old grandmother of two, was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2009 while battling leukemia for the past 7 years.   She chose a double-mastectomy December 2009 and underwent no treatment, because of early detection with an annual mammogram.  NOTHING puts Kitty in a corner! Meet Lisa...WARRIOR Lisa, 45 year old mother of three, has a strong family history of breast cancer spanning generations, which includes, both Grandmothers, both Sisters and several Aunts. After the loss of her Sister Jean, she joined the "Sister Study" (administered by the Komen Foundation and Duke Medical Research).  As part of this ongoing and extensive study,  Lisa underwent an invasive breast surgery to donate breast tissue.  As a BRCA negative family - ongoing studies are done to find why this family is under attack.         Meet Chelle...MOVER, SHAKER, MOTIVATE-HER Chelle was initially moved to show her support of her close friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer 15 years ago.  She shows her support by fundraising and walking for the AVON WALK and will complete her 8th Walk, May 5-6, 2012 in D.C.  Chelle exceeds her fundraising goals each year and is thrilled to share the surplus with walkers who have fallen short of their fundraising goals.  She is a LEADER!
